d.) Discuss styles, colors, & preferences
e.) Discuss need for interior architecture and decorating preferences.

Stage 2 : Concept & Viability
(concept design)

a.) Prepare an initial design concept and advise on :
i The intended space provisions and planning relationships;
ii Proposed materials, finishes and lighting
iii the technical and functional characteristics of the design.
b.) Review the programme.

Stage 3 : Design Development
​
a.) Develop all aspects of the design from concept to full development including but not limited to, construction systems, materials, fittings, and finishes selections;
b.) Review the programme and budget
c.) Consult with other consultants on their designs
d.) Prepare design development drawings including drafting technical details and material specifications.
Stage 4 : Documentation and
Procurement​
​a.) Prepare construction documentation
b.) Co-ordinate technical documentation with the consultants if any and complete co-ordination
c.) Prepare specifications for the works;
d.) Obtain offers for the execution of the works;
e.) Complete all the remaining technical and construction documentation and coordinate same with the consultants;
Stage 5 : Construction​

c.) Issue construction documentation;
d.) Review sub-contractor designs, shop drawings and documentation for conformity of design intent;
e.) Inspect the works for conformity with the contract documentation and acceptable quality in terms of industry standards:
g.) Manage the completion process of the project;
Stage 3.1 : Design Presentation pack

Basic 3D & 2D design of initial concept and layouts
Mood boards & specification of material for hard furnishing/shopfitting
Specification of applicances, lighting, plumbing, sanware & electrical fittings
Specification of wall, floor & ceiling finishes.

- Note stage 3.1 includes 2 x rendered images for 2 areas of the clients choice
- There after a fee of R2000 per image is
applicable upon request
Stage 4.1 : Technical & furniture pack (FF&E)​

Co-ordination & checking for compliance of
services within proposed design (eg air-
